Why Deco Crete floors?  Why not tile?  Many reasons exist.  To name a few, we can offer endless color and design options as you will see below.  In addition, many of our flooring systems are seamless, meaning grout lines do not exist, making our floors very easy to clean and non-bacterial harboring.  Ever seen 5 year old grout lines in a bathroom?  -Yuck!  We can install concrete overlay floors on existing concrete floors or even plywood subflooring.  All of our flooring is permanent and resilient, making the life-cycle cost of installation and maintenance, the lowest in the market.  In addition, Deco Crete offers so many composition materials for your floor including epoxy matrices mixed with wood chips, vinyl, marble, granite, quartz and more.  Lastly, isn't uniqueness worth something?  Everyone has tile, carpet and wood floors!  When it comes to originality, Deco Crete earns an A+.

Modello Flooring

"Modello" is an Italian word meaning, "pattern" or "I model" which is a fitting name for these floors that offer clients any pattern of their choosing.  Below are examples of this type of stenciled floor that can  best be described as unique, elegant and in any atmosphere, absolutely fabulous.  Hundreds of stencil are available to chose from.  Or, our fabricators can custom create one for you from any drawing or picture!

Terrazzo Flooring

Terrazzo is nothing new to the flooring industry.  However, its elegance and utility for creating fascinating designs makes this flooring product a "must have" for our repertoire of products.  Used for many years on commercial projects and fine homes, terrazzo flooring is available to you through Deco Crete.  For those of you not familiar with terrazzo, it is a an extremely durable floor made from an epoxy matrix and aggregates gained from marble, granite and other stone quarries.  Installed at 1/4" to 1/2", this product has a much faster setting time than the older, cementitious terrazzo that used to be commonly installed.  Epoxy terrazzo floors can be installed in as little as three days.  The other advantage of epoxy terrazzo is that it is available in unlimited colors.

Acid Stained Floors

Acid stained floors are created by applying a solution that interacts with chemicals in the concrete, actually changing the color of the concrete itself.  The final product is a floor colored with variegated, translucent effects.  Many different types of sealers are available to finish off the floor resulting in anywhere from a high sheen to a matte finish.  As you will see from the pictures, Deco Crete takes their acid stain projects one step further than the competition, resulting in a highly refined floor that is suitable for many environments.  Many times, acid stained floors completed by other contractors yield an industrial, rough looking floor that just does not have the elegance for use in many locations.

Mirage

A floor created by moving special pigments through forced heat and air flow during the application process, the Illusions line is nothing like you have ever seen before.  This flooring product, though quite expensive, is the most dazzling on the market, hands down.  The appearance or "illusion" of light reflecting off the pigments in the floor will change with the position of the spectator.  Some of the colors actually change color as well, based upon the observers vantage point.  If looking for something truly unique, we guarantee the Jones's do not have this flooring!

Stamped Overlays

Stamped overlay products are by far our most popular.  The look achieved is similar to granite, slate, sandstone, marble or other quarried stone at only a fraction of the cost of true stone.  The thickness of the overlay is approximately 1/4" on exterior surfaces and is applied directly on top of your existing concrete.  We can also apply this product over interior floors that have a plywood base.  The thickness of this type of application is 1/2".

Skip Trowel Overlays

Skip Trowel  or "Trowel Down" applications are a great alternative to stamped overlays.  This application lacks the depth and look of authentic stone offered by the stamped overlay, but does have random texture of its own created by hand troweling the cementitious overlay material.  In addition, a tile or stone pattern can be etched into the pattern, providing for a faux slate stone appearance.   As with stamped overlays, this product can be applied over concrete or wood floor surfaces.
